Pearlescent Pigments
Pearlescent pigments are mica-based and yield similar results to metallic pigments (aluminum or bronze based) but are easier to use and more economical. In addition, they are compatible with all types of binders.
These pigments are used to create unique decorative effects. Mix in a clear binder, such as an egg-glaze, wax, varnish, and acrylic resin.

Our small packets of pigments are sold by volume. The values indicated on the labels (ex: 30ml/1 OZ) are volume, not weight. As every pigment has very different densities and as we use volumes of pigments for our paint recipes, we sell the smaller packages in volumes to align with our recipes.
